How do I know people on Pockit Job are real?
Every user can verify their profile photo with a live selfie check that confirms they're a real person and matches their picture — verified profiles carry a green tick you'll see across the app. And to keep everyone safe, anyone posting a personal job must have a verified profile photo before they can post. Businesses can also choose to verify their company details against official records — look for the business verified badge on their profile. For more tips, read our guide to staying safe online.
Can I make sure people applying for my job are real?
Yes. When you post a job you can choose to accept applications only from people with a verified profile photo — anyone who hasn't verified their profile image won't be able to apply.
Will my contact details be shared?
No. Applications, messages and video interviews all happen inside the app — your phone number, email address and other personal details are never shared with the other side. You only ever swap details yourself, if and when you choose to.
Can anyone see my profile?
Your full profile is only visible to people you interact with on the app — for example when you accept a connection request or apply for someone's job. The one exception is when you post a job: people browsing the board can view your poster profile — your name, photo, description and reviews — so applicants know who they'd be working for. Either way, your contact details are never shown; everyone else just sees your public card of first name, photo and star rating.
Can you report jobs and messages?
Yes — every job post, skill advert and message has a report button. Reported content is hidden straight away while our team reviews it, and accounts that break the rules can be blocked from the platform.
How do video interviews work?
Meet face to face before you hire with a live video call inside the app — no phone numbers, external apps or links needed. Pick a time, your applicant gets the invite in the app and by email, and either side can see the details on their My Jobs page. Hirers can reschedule or cancel at any time, and if an applicant doesn't show up, the interview is credited back.
What does it cost?
Searching and applying for jobs is completely free, always. Hiring is free for your first 3-month trial — after that, posting a job uses low-cost credits, and if no one applies your credits are automatically refunded. Businesses with multiple locations get a 3-month free trial too, then simple monthly plans — see our features and business pages for the details.
What happens after a job is done?
Both sides confirm the job is complete, then review each other. Star ratings and written reviews appear on profiles, so good work builds a reputation you can check before you hire — or before you apply. New to the app? You can ask someone who knows you well for a personal review to get started.
Can I post jobs involving childcare?
No — to keep everyone safe, Pockit Job can't be used for jobs caring for children or vulnerable adults. Every job post is checked against this policy.
